We Know Hospitality! Trust PMSA to Provide Your Hospital Valet Parking Service.

There are a variety of benefits from a medical center offering a valet service.

hospital valet parking

Valet parking services provided by hospitals play a crucial role in efficient time management. By offering valet parking to their guests, medical centers enable visitors to avoid the time-consuming task of searching for a parking spot. This not only enhances time management but also adds convenience for valued guests. It particularly benefits individuals with disability placards as they may require assistance due to heavy loads or mobility issues. Such valet services prove exceptionally useful during adverse weather conditions like heavy rainstorms. With PMSA and our well-insured, knowledgeable parking attendants, visitors can rest assured. Our staff undergo thorough training on various car makes and models. This includes understanding nuances like alarm systems and keyless ignition. Employing skilled professionals allows PMSA to park vehicles closer and in straighter alignments compared to visitors. This ultimately saves space in hospital parking lots and avoids the inconvenience of searching for parking on different floors.

Stack Parking

An added benefit of implementing a valet service in a medical center is “stack parking.” This is the term that is generally referred to whenever it is possible to pack more cars into a given physical space. These operations involve the parking attendants holding in their possession all of the vehicle keys. This allows them to park the cars two or more rows deep. Consequently, they have the ability to move cars out-of-the-way to free a blocked-in car when needed.

Lane Stacking

Now let’s discuss “lane stacking.” This is one of the more popular ways of operating a hospital valet parking service. Lane stacking is useful whenever guests are set to arrive about the same time. The purpose of lane stacking is to keep the incoming traffic lane efficiently moving forward. It allows the valet service to quickly check in arriving guests. Lane stacking is usually accomplished by delegating one or two of the valet parking attendants to be the “stackers.” These parking attendants will simply move each car up by about fifty feet or so. They prepare it for a quick “take-away” for another returning valet to park. This operation is then repeated until all arriving cars are parked. Lane stacking utilizes as much traffic lane space as it is possible. However, this procedure greatly accelerates the traffic flow in the most efficient manner possible!
