Eric Vargas, Founder and CEO of Parking Management Services of America (PMSA), holds a Master’s Degree in Business Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources. PMSA is a well-established parking company, providing valet and parking attendant services across Los Angeles and Orange County.

Professional Experience

In 2009, Eric launched The Parking Group, a parking consulting firm that successfully served prominent clients, including The Playboy Mansion and the City of Los Angeles, to improve their parking management operations. In 2015, the National Parking Association (NPA) selected Eric as part its inaugural class of young professionals and up-and-coming leaders in the parking industry. “NPA is extremely proud to recognize the impact of the parking industry’s best and brightest young professionals, and to also foster leadership development that will continue the industry’s innovation and growth,” said NPA President Christine Banning, MA, CAE.

By 2020, Eric played a key role in the business development of Westside Collector Car Storage (WCCS) in Culver City. It was the first in Los Angeles to feature Quad Stacker Parking Lifts from ParkPlus. PMSA’s staff was selected to operate these advanced parking systems.

In September 2024, PMSA announced that it had achieved continuous year-over-year sales growth since the COVID-19 pandemic began. The company also raised its sales outlook for 2025. Under Eric’s leadership, PMSA adapted its health and safety protocols during the pandemic. It focused on improving customer experience and restoring consumer confidence. This strategy led to a record-setting year for the company in 2024. Eric’s extensive professional experience includes:

• Trained and supervised over 200 employees across Southern California.
• Implemented organizational and time management strategies to boost productivity.
• Turned around underperforming operations by coaching staff and providing continuous training.

SALES & MARKETING
• Significantly Increased sales during economic challenges by identifying a new markets for PMSA’s services.
• Built strong relationships with owners of popular establishments and boutique hotels.
• Hired, trained, and led a management team committed to a “client-first” approach.

CLIENT RELATIONS
• Worked closely with general managers to ensure superior guest services.
• Managed revenue decisions and negotiating key purchases.
• Researched and analyzed labor costs for new products and services at hotels, nightclubs, resorts, and high-traffic restaurants.
• Oversaw property operations and resolved guest complaints effectively.
